Chapter 2: Nasal Anatomy and Function

This video walks you through the inside of your nose and how it works. You will see the wall that divides the left and right sides of the nose (the septum), how air flows through each side, the scroll-shaped structures inside the nose (the middle and lower turbinates), the spot where the nose naturally swells and shrinks, and the tiny paths the sinuses use to drain. The focus is on how your nose is built to do its main job: taking in outside air and delivering it to your lungs clean, warm, and moist.
